(Nashville, Tennessee, USA: June 5, 2007) Hickory Hardware™ (www.hickoryhardware.com), America's leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of decorative, functional and industrial hardware, announces that its new Designer Collection of door hardware has launched in The Great Indoors® (TGI) home improvement retail chain. The TGI Designer Collection rollout is supported by a custom merchandising unit designed to match TGI's style while showcasing each product's beauty and functionality.

The Designer CollectionHickory Hardware's Designer Collection TGI merchandiser is a gondola-style unit designed to match the chain's highly distinctive merchandising look in both wood type and finish. Hickory Hardware worked closely with TGI designers to create a look and feel that would place the Designer Collection at home in TGI.

TGI home improvement centers offer high-end products for home remodeling and decorating. Hickory Hardware's Designer Collection hardware can be found in all 16 TGI stores, which include locations in Las Vegas and Houston.

"The launch of the Designer Collection at TGI shows off Hickory Hardware's 100-year legacy of design, manufacturing and engineering excellence in the industry's most extensively researched and retail-friendly sales program," says John Pelka, vice president of marketing, Hickory Hardware. The Designer Collection features the company's most popular designs, including the Empire-styled Ribbon and Reed design family, the seventeenth-century-France-inspired Richelieu, and the simple, contemporary Studio family, for a luxurious style that suits any home. The collection is available in new finishes, such as Sausalito Silver and Antique Black Copper, as well as the popular Satin Nickel and Oil-Rubbed Bronze Highlighted finishes.

Easy-to-install with long-lasting finishes, a lifetime mechanical warranty, and security that meets the industry's highest standards, Hickory Hardware's Designer Collection entrance handle-sets range in price from $249-$399. The collection officially launched at K/BIS in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 8-10, and will be replacing Hickory Hardware's Period Brass-brand door products and accessories.
